Brent crude rose 0.92% to USD 106.66/barrel as escalating Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia, including a strike on Saudi Aramco’s Dhahran headquarters, revived Middle East supply fears. Gold eased 0.31% to USD 4,153/oz as investors awaited US September CPI data for clues on Fed tightening.
The JCI closed down 0.17% to 5,926 yesterday as weaker technology stocks and big banks outweighed gains in property. The rupiah stood at IDR 17,896/USD, while foreign investors posted net buys of IDR 562 billion.
