- ACES expands to Ternate and Palopo
Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia (ACES) officially opened its first stores in two new cities, Ternate, North Maluku Province, and Palopo, South Sulawesi Province. The inauguration of these two stores brings the number of stores that ACES has opened to 10 stores in 1H24. This addition is in line with the company’s efforts to expand the service network and realize its strategic plan to reach the central and eastern regions of Indonesia. With the opening of these two new stores, ACES now has 241 ACE Hardware stores in 73 cities throughout Indonesia. ACES officially opened at the popular shopping center in Ternate City, Jatiland Mall, with an area of 1,983m². XL Axiata (EXCL) posted a net profit of IDR 1.02T (+57.52% yoy), supported by solid revenue performance thanks to an increase in the number of customers. EXCL posted revenue of IDR 17.05T (+8.16% yoy). Revenue from data and digital services was still the major contributor, namely IDR 15.83T (+9.92% yoy) or 92.88% of total revenue. EXCL’s total customers were 58.6M in 1H24 (+1% yoy). XL Axiata’s ARPU remains at IDR 44,000 or the same as the position in 1Q24. EXCL reported operating 163,884 BTS units in 1H24 (+8% yoy). Wijaya Karya Beton (WTON) recorded a net profit of IDR 17.89B (+31.65% yoy), in line with revenue which increased to IDR 2.19T (+20.88%). The company’s revenue portion is still dominated by the concrete segment, both precast concrete and fresh concrete (readymix), namely 84.74%, followed by the services segment at 15.21% and the materials segment at 0.04%. WTON succeeded in pocketing a new contract of IDR 3.36T in 1H24, which was dominated by private customers at 78.33%, followed by other state-owned companies at 18.03%, WIKA’s parent company at 2.64%, WIKA affiliates at 0.57%, and the government at 0.43%.
