• EAST will distribute interim dividends
Eastparc Hotel (EAST) will distribute interim dividends of IDR 14.44B or IDR 3.5 dividend per
share. Dividend funds come from EAST’s 9M24 net profit, which reached IDR 23.32B. The
company also still holds an unrestricted profit balance of IDR 19.61B. The cum dividend date
is on 12 Dec 24 and the payment date is on 27 Dec 24. (IDX Channel)
• HERO Changes name to DFI Retail Nusantara
Hero Supermarket (HERO) has officially changed its name to DFI Retail Nusantara. The
company will also focus on the retail business segment for beauty and health products
through Guardian and household products through IKEA. The name change occurred
because HERO had divested the Hero Supermarket business segment to Hero Ritel
Nusantara (HRN). As is known, in 2021, HERO decided to close the Giant business sector
comprising hypermarkets and supermarkets. The end of Giant’s operations was followed by
releasing the Hero Supermarket business segment to an affiliate, namely HRN, in June 2024.
Based on notes in the company’s financial report, HERO also agreed to lease several stores,
distribution centers, and office space to HRN, as well as provide several transition services
including accounting. and finance, procurement, tax, and information technology services to
HRN. The value for this transaction is IDR 135B and does not include applicable taxes. (Bisnis

• PTPP divests fiber optic business to MTEL
Pembangunan Perumahan (PTPP) through its subsidiary PP Infrastruktur (PPIN) has
divested its fiber optic business, namely Ultra Mandiri Telekomunikasi (UMT), worth IDR
645.4B to Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (MTEL). The transaction value of the divestment is all
42,570 shares of UMT or the equivalent of IDR 645.45B. The transaction was carried out as
PTPP’s effort to return to its core business by clustering the PPIN portfolio to strengthen its
main business in the water sector (SPAM). Apart from that, divestment was also carried out
to streamline the investment portfolio to achieve business sustainability. (Bisnis Indonesia)
