  • Qatar National Bank divests 1.42B shares in BKSW
    A Shareholder of Bank QNB Indonesia (BKSW), Qatar National Bank (QNB) has divested its shares. Meanwhile, a total of 1.42B shares were released by the bank. The transaction was carried out on 16 Oct 24. As a result, QNB now only holds 32.19B shares, or the equivalent of 91.57% ownership. Meanwhile, before the transaction, QNB was known to have 95.63% share ownership in BKSW. The remaining 4.37% is held by the public. (Kontan)
  • MARK maximizes exports for the remainder of 2024
    Mark Dynamics Indonesia (MARK) is targeting a significant increase in export sales to support a 10-15% revenue growth this year. Currently, exports account for 50% of the company’s total revenue, primarily from markets in Asia, America, and Europe. The company targets FY2024 revenue of Rp800bn and to achieve its revenue target, MARK is expanding its production capacity and exploring new international markets, including potential growth areas in Africa. The company is leveraging operational efficiency to keep costs low and margins competitive, which is essential given fluctuating global demand. MARK remains confident in maintaining strong export performance despite market uncertainties.   • PGEO executed MESOP Programs with 13.01M total shares issued
    Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) reports the results of the Management and Employee Stock Option Program (MESOP) Phase I and II program. The number of option rights converted into shares or the number of MESOP shares issued reached 13,016,558 shares. The nominal exercise of this MESOP is IDR 10.41B. The number of PGEO shares before the issuance was 41,495,007,591. Meanwhile, the number of PGEO shares after the MESOP I and II Programs became 41,508,024,149. As of 30 Sep 24, Pertamina Power Indonesia as the controller owns 28.56B shares or 68.83% of PGEO shares, followed by Masdar Indonesia Solar Holdings RSC Limited of 6.20B shares or 14.96% of total shares, Pertamina Pedeve Indonesia of 2.47B shares or 5.97% of total shares. Meanwhile, public ownership is 4.24B shares or the equivalent of 10.23% of total PGEO shares. (Kontan)
  • SMMT plans private placement of 315M shares
    Golden Eagle Energy (SMMT) plans to conduct a private placement of a maximum of 315M shares with a nominal value of IDR 125 per share or a maximum of 10% of the total number of shares paid up and placed in the company. Through private placement, the company is expected to obtain alternative sources of funding for business interests or business activities of the company and/or the company’s subsidiaries. With this private placement, SMMT shareholders who do not participate in the short term will be exposed to the risk of a maximum 10% dilution in share ownership. Management also said that there would be no impact on the change in control of the company after the private placement was carried out. To obtain approval, SMMT will hold an EGMS on 26 Nov 24. Hari received his degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Indonesia in 1988. He became the Independent Commissioner of PT Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia on 24 March 24 2023. He began his work in the financial industry in 1976 at a foreign bank in Jakarta and later worked for a security company in the capital market. Having worked in the financial market for over 30+ years, Hari has held positions as a President Director, Directors and Senior Manager. He is currently an competency assessor for Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Pasar Modal Indonesia (LSPPMI).
