- ACES recorded 4.6% yoy SSSG on July 24
Aspirasi Hidup Indonesia (ACES) recorded a 4.6% yoy SSSG on Jul 24 with outside of Java region continued to outperform with SSSG reaching 8.5% yoy, followed by Java excluding Jakarta of 3.5% yoy, and Jakarta with a modest 0.3% yoy. This result contributes to a YTD SSSG of 9.8% yoy, surpassing the company’s full-year guidance of at least 7% yoy. ACES anticipates a better SSSG performance on Aug 24 compared to Jul 24. The company expects to benefit from a lower base than the prior year and the upcoming Independence Day promotion, which runs from 7-27 Aug. ACES opened two new stores outside Java in Aug, expanding its presence in Ternate – North Maluku (2,000 sqm), and Palopo – South Sulawesi (1,800 sqm). This year, JPFA is in the midst of strategic efforts to strengthen its downstream segment, namely expanding and developing markets, especially in areas that still have large market potential.
