Bank Indonesia (BI) decided to maintain the BI Rate at 6% at the Board of Governors Meeting for the period 15-16 Oct 24. Meanwhile, the central bank also set the Deposit Facility interest rate to remain at 5.25% and the Lending Facility interest rate to remain at 6.75%. This decision is in line with the direction of monetary policy to ensure inflation remains under control within the target of 2.5 ± 1% in 2024 and 2025, as well as to support sustainable economic growth. - BELI will carry out a private placement worth IDR 2.25T
Global Digital Niaga (BELI) will execute a private placement worth IDR 2.25T. The company will issue 4.9B new shares with an exercise price of IDR 460 per share. All new shares will be taken up by Lingkarmulia Indah, which is jointly owned by Robert Budi Hartono (51%) and Bambang Hartono (49%). Lingkarmulia Indah owns 89.61% of the shares in Global Digital Prima, which holds 99.99% of Global Investama Andalan, the controller of BELI. The payment for the purchase and distribution of additional shares from the private placement will continue on 22 Oct 24. The new shares will be listed on the IDX on 23 Oct 24. (Kontan)
