• Automotive: Wholesale car sales rose in Feb 25
Based on data from Gaikindo, national car sales on a wholesale basis increased by 2.2% yoy
to 72,295 units compared to Feb 24 which recorded 70,772 units. Furthermore, on a monthly
basis, car sales also experienced a significant increase of 16.7% from Jan 25 which recorded
sales of 61,932 units. Meanwhile, retail sales slightly declined by 0.8% yoy, from 70,420 units
on Feb 24 to 69,872 units on Feb 25. However, when compared on a monthly basis, retail sales
increased by 9.1% from Jan 25, which was recorded at 64,029 units. Toyota is still the car brand
with the highest sales in Indonesia in February 2025, both wholesale and retail. (Kontan)
• BSDE targets IDR 10T marketing sales in 2025
Bumi Serpong Damai (BSDE) is targeting marketing sales of IDR 10T in 2025. The company is
optimistic that new product launches in BSD City, along with joint venture projects such as
Nava Park and Hiera, will continue to attract market interest. BSDE aims for 51% of this year’s
marketing sales to come from the residential segment, while the commercial segment is
expected to contribute 34%, with the remaining 15% coming from other sources. In the
residential segment, BSD City is projected to generate pre-sales of IDR 1.8T, or 18% of the total
pre-sales target of IDR 10T. Meanwhile, in the commercial segment, commercial projects
located within BSD City are expected to reach IDR 1.7T in pre-sales, or 17% of the total target.
Apart from BSD City, Hermawan stated that Grand Wisata and Kota Wisata would also be
key contributors to BSDE’s pre-sales. Additionally, BSDE expects an increase in marketing
sales following its acquisition of Suryamas Dutamakmur (SMDM) last year. The company
anticipates additional contributions from SMDM’s three projects, that is Rancamaya, Royal
Tajur, and Harvest City, which are projected to contribute around 3% to the total marketing

• SMRA allocates IDR 2T in capex for 2025
Summarecon Agung (SMRA) has set aside a capex budget of IDR 2T for 2025. Out of the total
budget, IDR 1T will be allocated for property development needs, specifically for acquiring
land in areas already owned by the company. Meanwhile, the remaining IDR 1T will be
allocated for investment property. The company plans to use it for the construction and
development of Summarecon Mall Bekasi Phase 2, Summarecon Mall Makassar, and Hotel
Harris Serpong. SMRA is targeting marketing sales of IDR 5T for 2025, reflecting a 15% increase
from the IDR 4.36T achieved in 2024. According to the company, marketing sales
performance at the beginning of this year has been strong, supported by sales of stock
inventory and products in the final stages of completion. Going forward, the company plans
to launch various new products, further contributing to the positive growth of its marketing
