- Automotive: May car sales decline 13.3% yoy
Despite sluggish market conditions, Gaikindo still maintains its projection for car sales of 1.1M units in 2024. Based on the latest data received by Bisnis, wholesale car sales in May 2024 reached 71,263 units (-13.3% yoy). In line, retail sales declined to 72,137 units (-12.6% yoy).
