BMRI Expands International QRIS Transactions Amid Digital Banking Push
Bank Mandiri (BMRI) recorded a significant increase in international QRIS transactions
through its Livin’ by Mandiri app, with over 141,800 transactions worth IDR 49.16 billion in the first five
months of 2025. USD, MYR, and JPY were the most used currencies. The growth reflects rising
consumer demand for secure, efficient crossborder digital payments. The bank also saw over
35,500 multicurrency accounts opened through Livin’ by May 2025, driven by features like Visa
debit linkage and Tap to Pay that support seamless global transactions. (Emiten)
CDIA Commissioner Andre Khor Accumulates More Shares Below Market Price
Andre Khor Kah Hin, Commissioner of PT Chandra Daya Investasi Tbk (CDIA), continued his share
accumulation by purchasing 4.25 million shares on July 21, 2025, at IDR 1,050 per share, 13.58%
below the market closing price of IDR 1,215. The transaction, worth IDR 4.46 billion, raised his
ownership to 19.25 million shares or 0.015%. This follows a previous purchase of 15 million shares at
IDR 800 per share on July 18, 2025. Both transactions were made for direct investment purposes. (Emiten)
PANI Denies Rights Issue Rumors
PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk (PANI) or PIK 2 denied rumors of capital increase through a rights
issue that briefly caused the company’s shares to soar. PANI management revealed that the
company has no plans to conduct a Corporate Action for Increasing Capital by Granting
Preemptive Rights (PMHMETD) until the end of 2025.
SSIA Becomes Strategic Acquisition Target of Djarum Group via DIA
Djarum Group, through PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan (DIA), has again acquired shares in PT
Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk or Surya Internusa (SSIA). The acquisition value reached Rp169.4
billion. The Djarum Group purchased SSIA shares through the transfer of shares resulting from a
buyback or treasury shares. The total number of shares acquired reached 62.9 million shares.
TGUK Officially Acquired by VCG, 59.34% Stake Secured
Visionary Capital Global Pte Ltd (VCG) is prepared to acquire 59.34 percent of PT Platinum Wahab
Nusantara Tbk (TGUK) or Teguk. This is marked by the signing of a Conditional Shares Purchase
Agreement (CSPA) between PT Dinasti Kreatif Indonesia (DKI) as the controlling entity of Teguk
and VCG on July 18, 2025.
TPIA Acquires 11.9% of Shares from Singapore Company Hiap Seng Industries
PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (TPIA) has acquired 11.9% of shares from the Singapore-based
company, Hiap Seng Industries Limited. Hiap Seng operates in mechanical engineering
services, fabrication, construction, and maintenance for the energy and industrial sectors
and has been established for more than 70 years. Along with this, TPIA has also officially launched
Aster Engineering Services Pte Ltd. This new entity will focus on providing multidisciplinary engineering services and plant maintenance for the oil and gas, petrochemical, and chemical
terminal sectors in Singapore and the surrounding area.
