DAILY OUTLOOK
Indonesia’s 10-year SUN yield fell 1.4bps to 7.099% on 9 September, while the US 10-year Treasury rose 5.2bps to 4.841%, widening the SUN–UST spread to 225.8bps. JISDOR strengthened 66 points to IDR17,552/USD, but WTI advanced 1.1% to USD97.12/bbl as the US-Iran conflict intensified and tanker attacks renewed supply concerns. Treasuries sold off after the Treasury’s USD6bn long-dated buyback failed to meet investor expectations, reinforcing global duration pressure. For today, we expect the 10-year SUN to trade in a 7.05%-7.18% range with a cautious-neutral bias. Prefer selective 5- to 10-year accumulation on weakness; avoid extending duration aggressively before the US CPI release.
